Rev. Yolanda Mendoza

Senior Pastor

Rev. Yolanda Mendoza, together with her late husband Rev. Jesus Mendoza, accepted the pastoral position in 1980 and faithfully co-pastored and served the church for many years. Rev. Mendoza went home to be with the Lord in September of 2023, but the vision God gave them—that the church would be a light on the corner of North Lansing—continues to shine and impact the community today.

Pastor Yolanda’s passion remains to see people restored and discover their God-given purpose. She continues to serve wholeheartedly, carrying forward the calling that she and her husband shared. She is blessed with 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Moses & Julie Mendoza

Co-Pastors

Moses Mendoza was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. From a very early age, he sensed God's call to full time ministry.  He followed that call to Dallas, Texas where he graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute as well as Southwestern Assemblies of God University. It was at Southwestern that he completed his Bachelors Degree as well as his Masters Degree and (most importantly!) met his wife, Julie. Since that time, he has held leadership positions in church ministries.

Moses has been married to his wife Julie since 1996. They have four children; Micah who is married to Ali. And they have 3 more children who still live at home. Mason, Mia and Melina.
